We had a special guest in class 1 this afternoon.....Lydia, to talk about being Eco friendly to the environment. The children sat beautifully and learned about compost and about worms. Did you know compost is worm poo? The children were very interested in finding out how to find a worms' head and how all worms can lay eggs - which house 10 babies!
The children looked through some compost trays, watching the worms work. Some of the worms were so small we needed to use magnifying glasses!
Mrs Turners class also worked with Lydia so Class 1 ventured into class 2 for a session. Well done class 1, you completed your literacy task beautifully and even had time to look at Mrs Turners' play things.
