Corby met us at our classroom and gave us a talk about how to stay safe during the day. We learnt about walking safely, washing hands and what to do in an emergency. We then started our day.
We walked to the edge of the woods and listened to Little Red Riding Hood and collected woodland resources to make our wolf heads. We were very careful not to pick things from the ground.
Some ducklings which were 2 days old waddled across the field to say hello then went for a swim.
We made a wolf head out of clay and added woodland pieces for facial detail. We then walked back to the classroom and washed our hands ready for dinner.
In the afternoon we walked to the Victorian garden and listened to Jack and the Beanstalk. Some of us acted the character parts.
We made our own plant pots and planted a magic bean. We also worked with our adult to complete a plant hunt, looking for different things.
It was then time for another toilet break and get back on the coach.
We had a lovely day!
