As our Class topic this term is Mexico and our Design and Technology module is making a sandwich packaging, we thought we would combine the two and make a 'Mexican Tortilla Wrap packaging'. We enjoyed making the packaging, but thought it would be fun to make a Mexican Tortilla Wrap to go in our pachaging.
Miss Underwood brought the ingredients and set up the classroom with the help of Mrs Bevans and Miss Crossland. Before we got started Mrs Bevans gave us a quick lesson in food hygiene and then Miss Underwood told us to try any ingredient we had never tried before. The one ingredient we were all eager to try was the hot sauce. Those who were brave enough to try a sample felt like a volcano had exploded in their mouths! We had lots of fun making our wraps, and enjoyed munching on them.
Here are few photos of the action.
