Writing - What did you do on your holiday?
WALT: use some clearly identifiable letters to communicate meaning, representing some sounds clearly and in sequence.
Think about what you did over half term. Maybe you were able to go for a walk, pay with your siblings, bake, meet a friend virtually.
Your grown up may even have photos of you during half term to spark a memory.
Say the sentence you would like to write. Say each word and point to a finger as you say it. e.g. I went to the park.
Then say the first word 'I' as you write it. Repeat this for each word ensuring you say the sounds as you write the word. e.g. w-e-n-t
