The Fire Brigade visited Class 1 today as part of our work on people who help us.
The Fire Fighters talked to the children about fire safety. They told the children what to do if they found some matches. Leave the matches alone, find an adult and tell the adult where the matches are.
The children were taught how to STOP, DROP and ROLL.
The Fire Fighters asked the children who has smoke alarms in their homes.
The children found out how to get out of a room filled with smoke, by crawling to a wall and then crawling around the edge of the room until you find the door.
Mrs Bradley and some of the children tried on the Fire Fighters uniform.
Class 1 then went outside to look at the fire engine. The children took turns sitting inside the fire engine.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
