As from  22nd February 2021, as with many schools in the Trust, we will be moving to the +Pay via ParentMail online service which allows parents to make payments quickly and easily on smartphone, tablet or computer, via the My Ed app.  School meals can also be pre-booked/paid using +Pay along with our Wrap Around Care provision and trip booking/payments.  

 

My Ed App

 

My Ed is a free parent App that gives a multitude of communication and information features to stay in touch with what is going on at school. The app gives you direct access to your child's attendance, absence records, and more. You will also see that we update and change the information in the app as the school year moves along.  The My Ed app is available for both Apple iOS and Android devices and can be found using the links below:

Once you have installed and openedMy Ed, search for Holy Cross Primary Catholic Voluntary Academy and follow the simple instructions to identify yourself.  

 

If you require help with the app, there’s a contact form on https://www.myedschoolapp.com/ (and a FAQs section. There have been some parents who have said that they don’t get notifications on their mobile – they need to check in the app notification settings within their phone settings (mainly Android - Settings, Apps, Apps again, find MyEd, then Notifications, and Notifications again, and check banners are set to permanent and preview to always).

 

+Pay App 

 

To access +Pay, within MyEd App, click on ‘My Students’ tab > Payments icon and follow the instructions to successfully connect to your child(ren).  We will inform you about items you need to pay through +Pay, and you will be able to pay electronically, using credit or debit cards as well as PayPal and PayPoint.  Please note, your bank statement will display either the school name or ParentMail, dependent on your payment method.  

 

School Meals

Parents are able to pre book/pay their child’s school lunch via the +Pay App.  Parents will be able to choose online from the latest Aspens Catering Menu (weeks 1, 2 and 3) online and book for the week ahead, however, this will be refunded in the event of absence. Aspens have their own special diets/allergy forms/policy so please complete this and return to school if required.

 

Wrap Around Care Provision Payments

 

Parents are able to pre book and pay for wrap around care via the +Pay App.  As with school meals this can be refunded in the event of absence.

 

Please register/download the My Ed and +Pay apps as soon as you are able even if your child qualifies for Free School Meals/Universal Meals.
