Holy Cross Primary Catholic Voluntary Academy admission arrangements 2016-17
‘The school is consulting on its admissions arrangements for 2016-17. The changes being proposed are;
1) Change to the requirement for completing the Supplementary form and the Supplementary Form itself such that only applicants applying under faith criteria should complete one – this is in order to align with the requirements of the Admissions Code
2) Change to the definition of definition Statements of Special Educational Need – to align with the newly introduced Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
3) Change to the definition of Previously Looked After Children – to align with the new national definition
4) Introduction of a footnote to clarify the reference in the definition of Catholic of ‘being in full ecclesial and canonical communion with the Catholic Church’.
