On Wednesday the 28th of April Class 2 joined in a Multi Sport Festival.
We all had so much fun! We hula hooped, skipped, ran as fast as we could on a trampet, learnt how to dodge, catch and throw, how to run as fast as we could using a hip to lip action with our arms, we also got to bounce on space bouncers.
A team of sports leaders from Christ the King school came with their teacher Mr Smith. The sports leaders were all Christ the King Students and some used to go to Holy Cross themselves.
The aim of the festivals are to train young children’s bodies in a fun and exciting way so that when they reach secondary school age they can put into practice all the skills that they learn.
After a very active afternoon we all received a certificate to say that we had taken part. We all had a wonderful time.
Some quotes from members of class 2
“ very, very awesome”
“ very good exercise and good fun”
“ Can we do that every week?”
