We recently put a bid in for some money to buy some outdoor clothing. We will purchase some waterproof mats for kneeling and sitting on, some wellies and outdoor jackets. Thanks to Mrs Horden for all her hard work.
We collected autumn leaves and flattened them. We used them to cover a table that we can use when we do our collective worship outside. We enjoyed seeing the different colours and textures of the leaves.
This week I have been on my Forest Schools training. I have spent all week learning new skills that I cannot wait to share with my groups. I have been learning to tie knots and use them to put up a shelter, I have used different tools to make my own mallet and tent pegs. I’ve even made a 3-legged stool! I have played lots of games and used natural materials to tell a story.
