Welcome to the Holy Cross Guitar Club
Playing a musical instrument is both fun and educational. It improves hand-eye coordination as well as introducing many musical concepts.
We have guitar lessons at Holy Cross every Tuesday during term time. The lessons are taught in groups of two or three, last for 20 minutes and cost £5.50 per pupil.
Our Guitar Tutor
Mr Ford has over 25 years of playing experience and regularly performs around Nottingham. He is a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (www.rgt.org) and offers a wide variety of guitar styles, including pop, rock, blues and classical (with music theory) as well as electric bass. Mr Ford also teaches adults, so if there are any parents, careers, grandparents or any other family members who would like the opportunity to receive tuition, don’t hesitate to contact Mr Ford, either at school or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Well done to all the children who have recently taken their RGT Initial Guitar Grade. Hannah, Teya, Conal, Summer, Eliza, Menudi and Ellie all worked very hard to achieve Distinctions. Good luck to the next group of children taking their guitar grades during the summer term.
It was lovely to see the children perform pieces from their exams in assembly. Click on the link at the bottom of this page to see our short video.Thank you to Miss Hornsby for doing the video. Look out for future guitar and hand bell performances.
