Welcome to Class 2!
Mrs Turner's Class
This week's statement to live by is:
I know what human dignity means.
Class 2 Prayer Book
Class 2's prayer bag/book will be coming home with the children. The prayer book will be sent home with a child for them to write a prayer, and should be returned to school the next day.
The prayer will be read at the start of our school day.
Please have a look at the example here on our class page in the link below.
Our first class prayer is fantastic!
Please ensure that you write in your best handwriting and illustrate it beautifully.
I would like to say how very proud I am of the prayers the children have written so far -
they are thoughtful, reflective and inspirational
Come and See
Our last topic is Neighbours/neighbours share Gods world - we will talk about our experiences and feelings about neighbours and say what we wonder about neighbours both locally and globally - I look forward to some more fantastic work !
Prayer and Reflection
All of those, and other besides, are summed up in the command, 'Love your neighbour as yourself'
If you love someone, you will never do them wrong, to love, then is to obey the whole law.
Infant Library display
What an amazing display of artistic talent and some great writing from Class 2 during our Antartica topic
Well done to all the children for producing some wonderful portraits of the Queen for her 90th birthday
A truly stunning display from Classes 1,2,3
Class 2 Homework is given out every Friday and should be completed and returned to school the following Monday. Please ensure your child's homework is completed. If you have any questions regarding homework then please do ask and we will make every effort to help.
