The children had a wonderful day at Wilderspin Victorian School. Thank you so much for the tremendous effort you went to to ensure the children all really looked like Victorians. A special thank you to all our helpers who also all came dress up. You looked fabulous too.
The children had Victorian lessons, played in the playground with Victorian toys, discovered how a Victorian classroom differs from our classroom and found out about the treasures that were found when Wilderspin School was restored.
The staff at the museum phoned Mrs Snowdon at school, while we were on our return journey, to say what a beautifully behaved class they were. I am very proud of all of them. Well done Class 2!
If you would like to visit the museum please have a look at their website. www.wilderspinschool.org.uk It is open on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It is also free to visit.
