Welcome to our School Office
All the latest information and events happening in school can be found on our Parents Pages.
We are an Eco School so rather than use paper, where possible, we add letters and documents directly to our website. Various documents can be downloaded and forwarded to our school office.
Our Calendar can be linked to your mobile phone so you keep up to date with activities in school.
We also provide a text messaging service and important information is sent regularly so please inform the school office if your mobile number has been changed. Unfortunately, texts are only sent to one parent (priority 1) so if you wish a second number to be added to the system then please contact us so we can add this to our second parent text group.
Your child's Class Pages will contain information and homework relating to Class activities so please check this on a regular basis. We have also introduced a new Video Sharing Platform which will enable you to view various assemblies/events and activities in school. Please see the VSP link on the Children Tab or the VSP link on the bottom of our Home Page.
We also have our own Facebook Page (Holy Cross Primary CVA), the link is also located on our Home Page.
Attendance: Please call us if your child will be absent from school. Our office is open from 8.00am or email us if you wish. We have to follow up any unexplained absence as part of our role to safeguard our children.
Collection from school: Please inform us if you will be late collecting your child from school or to notify us that another adult is to collect. Children will not be allowed home with anyone else without our prior knowledge.
Bus cards: Children will not be allowed to travel home on the school bus without a completed bus card. Please note that Nottinghamshire County Council provide this service. Our school office closes at 4.00pm so if there are any problems with transport after this time then please contact Freeways Coaches (Tel: 01773 811711).
Illness/accidents in school: We will notify you immediately if your child has an accident or is ill whilst in school. Please ensure your emergency contact telephones are updated.
If you have any queries or require any more information then please do not hesitate to contact our school office.
