We read a story about a little girl called Katie who went to her cousins house Alice and Ben for a sleepover. Katie discovered at their house they say a prayer before they go to bed. We read a prayer based on Psalm 101 in class to help the children understand how to talk to God.
The children have thought about their own bed time prayer which they have decorated. You have your own copy to keep at home so you can share it with your child before they go to bed. If you make up a bed time prayer of your own, please write it in your child's diary for us to share in class.
I trust you God!
Just like a baby.
Safe and snug.
Being carried in a mum's arms.
So I can rest in your love for me.
So gently held.
So lovingly held.
So good to be in your care.
I will rest in your love for me.
